This Privacy Policy explains how ROKONTECH LLC (“Lessontic”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use lessontic.comand our services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address, used for passwordless (magic-link) sign-in.
• Content you create: the topics you submit and the lessons, text, and images generated for you.
• Payment information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card details; we retain a customer/subscription identifier and subscription status.
• Technical & security data: your IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps, and a log of key actions (sign-in, lesson generation, subscription, and billing events). We collect this to operate the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain records of transactions and content you generated.
• Usage analytics: aggregated, privacy-friendly product analytics (via Vercel Analytics) to understand how the Service is used.

How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To generate the lessons and images you request.
• To process payments, manage subscriptions, and enforce plan limits.
• To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and violations of our Terms — including keeping a verifiable record (IP address, timestamps, and the content and purchases associated with your account) that we may rely on to defend disputes or comply with legal obligations.
• To communicate with you about your account and the Service.

Service providers we share data with

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Google (Gemini API) — generating lesson text and images from your topic.
• Resend — sending transactional emails such as sign-in links.
• Vercel — hosting and aggregated analytics.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. Security, billing, and audit records (including IP addresses and action logs) may be retained after account deletion for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account at any time from your billing/settings page, which removes your profile, lessons, and generated images. To exercise other rights, contact us at support@rokon.tech. Note that we may retain limited records as described in “Data retention”.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
